Oil Refining means the conversion of crude oil for direct human consumption, edible processing, and industrial purpose. The crude oil obtained from expellers or solvent extraction contains impurities. To make the oil edible, the impurities must be taken out; such a process is called “Refining”.

DEODORIZER
The deodorizer is a vertical cylindrical vessel complete holding vessel with inbuilt economizer to exchange outgoing oil with incoming oil. An inbuilt economizer bundle of coils are provided to exchange the heat of the oil. The function is to deodorize the oil.
BLEACHER
The Bleacher is a cylindrical dished end design provided with an agitator and comprising of 3no’s. Compartments vertically mounted on one over the other give true retention to slurry mass. Slurry flows from one compartment to another by a specially designed overflow system. All compartments are provided with steam sparge distribution arrangements for ensuring mass in suspension. The optimum agitator design provides intense mixing of slurry and an effective bleaching process. The bleacher is designed for quick changeover and is complete with nozzles & manholes.
CRYSTALLIZER
Cylindrical vessel with a flat top and bottom cone, agitator with drive unit internal cooling coils. Its function is to achieve slow cooling of oil to proper crystal growth
HEAT EXCHANGER
Shell and tube type heat exchanger working on rising film principles provided with tube sheet and tubes. The oil which flows through the tube is heated to a high temperature by the steam passing through the surroundings of the tubes.
